Best known for his multi-decade contributions to film as a character actor, Metcalf scored broadest recognition, however (and the role with which he permanently became associated), as equestrian Douglas C. Neidermeyer, the sadistic, obnoxious ROTC officer and Omega fraternity president at Faber College, in director John Landis' anarchic blockbuster comedy National Lampoon's Animal House (1978). Metcalf purportedly went in auditioning for lady-killer Otter -- the part eventually given to Tim Matheson -- but picked up the Neidermeyer role when he deceptively convinced Landis that he could ride a horse. He played a very similar character in the Twisted Sister music videos "We're Not Gonna Take It" (as the father) and "I Wanna Rock" (as a high school teacher). Subsequent projects (which placed a particularly strong emphasis on comedic turns) included Where the Buffalo Roam (1980), Mr. North (1988), Hijacking Hollywood (1997), and Warden of Red Rock (2001). The outings Oscar and The Stupids re-teamed him with director Landis. In the late '90s, Metcalf enjoyed a recurring role as The Master on the syndicated supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and became acquainted with producer David E. Kelley, on whose Ally McBeal he occasionally guest starred. Coincidentally, he also played a character called "the Maestro" (real name: Bob Cobb) on two episodes of Seinfeld.

Tiffany’s passion for helping sick children has been evident through her years of experience working with special needs children and childhood cancer patients. She realized no product on the market resolved the common problem of giving children medicine. So she took matters into her own hands, which brought AVA the Elephant ™ to life when she molded the first AVA from clay! After her life changing experience on ABC’s “The Shark Tank” she went home and spent months perfecting AVA to make sure she was as safe as she was helpful. In a twist of fate, Tiffany was diagnosed with cancer three months after the show (at the age of 28) which made her passion to help sick children even stronger! She found that it was not necessarily children’s dislike for medicine that made it so difficult. After all, they can make it taste like BUBBLEGUM these days! The process was the scary part. Realizing this, her first goal was to hide the medicine dropper completely! Her second was to make the child smile or laugh, hence the sweet voice! Last, but not least, she wanted their new little friend to praise them for a job well done! AVA has received an overwhelming response from parents and children internationally! AVA is now available in 5 countries and multiple languages! Tiffany hopes that Ava will make the jobs of caregivers much easier, but most importantly make children smile! Watch for Tiffany at speaking events around the country as well as internationally in 2012.
