Everyday people just like you are at the mall or relaxing at a cafè with friends when out of nowhere someone approaches them, asking if they have ever considered becoming a model or actor. These ordinary people accept the business card, and then decide to take the chance-before you know it they are whisked off to New York to meet the heads of some of the world's most respected agencies and casting directors. In the pop of a flash, they're on their first shoot! It's no fairy tale; it's reality, and this is what The "It" Factor Productions does every day. While most merely dream about it - the fact you are reading this page means you may be one step closer to making this a reality!
1) You have been invited to meet with a director for an evaluation at one of our local offices. At your evaluation the director will see what opportunities you qualify for based upon looks and age range. This is also a great chance to see what working in the industry is all about.
2) At the evaluation, the director may decide to invite you back for a more formal one-on-one interview, depending upon your physical qualifications, as well as your personality, professionalism and reliability. The director will also want to see how photogenic you are-Make sure you bring in some snapshots (they do not need to be professional). If you are not invited back at this time, do not let that get you down-it just means you may not be ready at this time for what is a very competitive industry. If it was a factor of weight or perhaps a cracked tooth, the director will let you know what type of improvements you can make to help your chances in the future.
3) At your second one-on-one interview, you and perhaps a family member will sit down with the director to discuss what opportunities could possibly await you in what would be an exciting and challenging new chapter in your life. Like Angelea Preston says, "It all begins the moment you were scouted!"
